This volume began as an offshoot of David Heller's doctoral work on children and religion. Here are missives from six to twelve year olds who write about family, peers, science, school, nature, and relationships. These letters give us sincere and candid glimpses of how kids picture God. A nine year old writes, "I see you in my dreams all the time. I know it is you because you have a crown on and you are always fishing." An eight year old admits, "I do not believe those people who say you are dead or far away. You probably live on the next street."
