Kids love to go places and see new things. Set up an excursion or trip and they get very excited. Some boys and girls are quickly bored with traveling and ask repeatedly "When are we going to get there?" But others are happy with the journey itself.

This enchanting picture book by Marthe Jocelyn and illustrator Tom Slaughter (enjoy his color rich paper cuts) is aimed at children from ages two to five who enjoy traveling as much (and maybe even more) as arriving at the destination. The author has created a handy guidebook propelled by the question: "How do we know which way to go?" Well, the world is a very helpful place and there are signs everywhere: stop and go signals, maps, compasses, and road signs. Whether we are driving, pedaling, sailing, or flying in an airplane, we can rest assured that we will find our way to our destination. And along the way we can certainly have fun!
