Grandpa Crow calls relatives and friends to a party "to make merry with me." It's a lively group: one squirrel, two raccoons, four possums, and Baby Bear, who is a clown. Also included in the festivities are five frogs, six jays, seven ladybugs, eight snakes, nine mice, and ten slimy slugs. The delicious snacks are gobbled up, and the tree holding the party-goers shakes when they dance the night away. Some stop for a well-deserved rest but the host will have none of that.

David Martin is the author and John Manders is the illustrator of this festive children's book about a group of party animals whose vim and vigor carries them through all the fun in the tree. Kids aged 2 and up are sure to relish the playful spirit of the story.
