The slogan "Visualize world peace" makes a lot of sense when we consider how influential thoughts and feelings are in producing the world we live in. Obviously, the move to protect mothers and children from the horrors of war began in the minds and hearts of men and women before it became an accepted (if not always practiced) rule of modern warfare.

Occasionally, use your meditation time to visualize world peace. Try to see families and communities working together peacefully. Don't just think about this in your head, but also feel in your heart the joys and blessings that come when you are with friends and amicable acquaintances and there is no strife, competition, or enmity. Have great faith that these moments of visualizing world peace are productive.
