The television series Global Spirit explores the spiritual, psychological, and scientific belief systems from around the world that animate our actions. It is an "internal travel" series that taps into the spiritual, mental, and physical practices that give richness and meaning to our days. Spirituality & Practice is pleased to be an organizational partner for this outstanding contribution to today's spiritual renaissance.

Global Spirit debuted in the spring/summer of 2009 on Link TV. Link TV is available on DIRECTTV channel 375, Dish Network channel 9410, and select cable stations (linktv.org/reception). A series of live chats with spiritual teachers featured in the programs is archived here.

The host for Global Spirit is Phil Cousineau, one of S&P's Living Spiritual Teachers who is a prolific author, world traveler, filmmaker, and all-around Renaissance man; he is, in other words, the perfect choice for a host. He did a Q&A with Frederic Brussat about his involvement in the series.

Major Support for this series has been provided by Kalliopeia Foundation, Fetzer Institute, Compton Foundation, ONE Foundation, Doris Duke Foundation for Islamic Art, Shelley & Donald Rubin Foundation, Angeles Arrien Foundation, Charles Engelhard Foundation, Marquis George MacDonald Foundation, and Betsy Gordon Foundation.
