‘Uthman bin ‘Affan (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet, may Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him, said, “There is no right that the son of Adam is more entitled to other than these (four) rights: A home to live in, a garment to cover his nakedness, a piece of bread, and water.”
May Allah allow us to play our part in giving people their fundamental rights, and may He give us the means to provide clean water for deprived communities, food for those who are hungry, clothing for those who are unclothed and shelter for those who cannot afford a home. Amin.
