Aizaiah Yong is a Fellow with The Practicing Democracy Project, a collaboration of The Center for Spirituality & Practice and the Fetzer Institute. He is a licensed Pentecostal minister, international teacher, and local non-profit leader who is passionate about works of justice, spirituality, and intercultural community. Previously, he has served as a minister of a local Christian church, a higher education leader, a public intellectual, and an intercultural community organizer. He is currently finishing his Ph.D. in Practical Theology, Intercultural Education, and Spiritual Formation at the Claremont School of Theology in Claremont, California. Aizaiah is grateful to have been married for seven years to Neddy and together they have two children, Serenity Joy, who is three years old, and Valor Amoz, who is one years old.
