Interfaith reading can deepen our own faith and expand our souls to receive more wisdom and compassion. Interfaith engagement is also one step we can take to counter the violence of religious intolerance that is on the rise worldwide. The interfaith reading group will provide two types of opportunities to grow your interfaith muscle: We will read and discuss books about different faith-groups working together, and we will read and discuss books about other traditions written by adherents to that tradition.

The group will meet monthly on Zoom to discuss that month’s book. Our first Selection is Getting to the Heart of Interfaith by Pastor Don Mackenzie, Rabbi Ted Falcon, and Imam Jamal Rahman — otherwise known as The Interfaith Amigos.

Our first meeting will be March 21 at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET. These meetings will not be recorded to maintain both privacy and immediacy within the group. We want the group itself to be interfaith and encourage everyone to sign up, whether or not you affiliate with a tradition.

PLEASE NOTE. Because there is no charge for joining this Practice Group, when you subscribe and come to the payment page, you should choose "pay by check." (Our payment processing company cannot handle $0.00 as an amount.) We'll watch for your subscription and mark it paid in the system so you have access to the Practice Group.
