The Latin word for intimate is intimus, "inmost." I know that when I live in an "inmost" manner here in this old farm lot I see and know much more about the world and myself. I come to experience that each thing that dwells here with me is a saint of sorts. These are the presences, the events and experiences — the "inner photos" — I want to develop. To remember, to hold, and to venerate the life around me.
