Farbrent means passionate, deeply involved, committed, as in "I am farbrent for God, for Torah, for mitzvot, for justice, for peace, for faith, for love." Into every life must come a passion, a cause, a commitment. Mine — yours — can be our God . . . Farbrent is a good thing to be. We can say it — we can be it — proudly, zealously.
