We are taught that every one of us is created in the divine image. All of us can be holy through imitating God, and the quintessential covenantal experience at Sinai established us as a "kingdom of priests and a holy nation" (Exodus 19:16).

So, you don't have to look around or look away. You don't have to wait for someone to come and do what you were put on this earth to do in the first place. Judaism empowers you, as one of God's anointed ones, to do more than you ever dreamed possible. You can even save a life, even if it's your own.
