Being inclusive does not ignore the differences. Zen includes both oneness and differences at the same time. A Zen verse about oneness and differences says:

With realization, all things are of one family,
Without realization, everything is separate and different.
Without realization, all things are of one family,
With realization, everything is separate and different.

Realization is the simultaneous experience of unity and diversity, of the universal and the particular.
