Like any human, I can expect to be harmed, misunderstood, humiliated, and disregarded. I can also expect to be bothered by shortcomings, inadequacies, weaknesses, and limitations. Being human has nothing to do with entitlements or perfections. Patiently suffering through the difficult times brought on by others or ourselves is the fully human way.
