The heart of Christianity;Protestant Christianity is a commitment to the continuing reformation of the church. The Reformation didn't end in the sixteenth century; it just began then. Its' going on today, hopefully. It's based on the reality that no person or institution controls God or speaks for God. Faith is dynamic, not static; a process, not a complicated belief system; a process in which we are all necessary, equal, and valuable to each other.
