The old adage that "God moves in mysterious ways" can be rephrased in Quaker-ease to "God speaks through mysterious speakers." That's why two themes run through Quaker meeting — waiting and listening. We wait to feel the touch of the Divine, and we listen too for God's voice in both the silence and the speakers.
