One should constantly learn from the Creator.
The Holy Blessed One disregarded the high mountains
and lofty hills,
and made visible the Divine Presence on lowly Mount Sinai.
Likewise God disdained all the majestic trees,
and brought forth the Divine Presence
in a lowly Burning Bush. (Sotah 5a)

Humility serves another very important role in the human personality. It allows for a sense of awe and reverence. It makes room for an understanding of the world as a lace that is divine in origin and unique in design.

For these reasons the Rabbis embraced humility and tried to find ways, including biblical references like Mount Sinai and the Burning Bush, to bring home their important message that arrogance and egotism destroy, and humility brings harmony and peace.
