If "the way" Van Gogh paints a simple tree makes it into a treasured image within the history of art, then the way we look at trees will do the same within the context of the personal imagination. Although we may not all be able to paint as well as he did, we can all look at things with the eyes of Van Gogh, or touch them with his sensibility for textures.
