It is possible, and even necessary at times, to call on luck. Rabbi Nahman used to urge people: "My friends, make use of your treasures." He was trying to point out to us the riches we have in the various worlds and that we don't know how to use. If you understand the interconnection between the various worlds of wealth, then you know the dangers of concentrating all your wealth in one dimension only. And you'll discover that you can transfer these riches from one dimension to the other when necessary.
