The church must now reclaim, grow into, and offer to the world its centuries-old minority view, the contemplative way. If we do not make this shift in both awareness and expression, the church will die. The world is even now moving past the church. People are finding their spiritual needs met in other, more mature places. The church will die if it does not evolve in this critical time of growth for humankind.
