When we travel through life with a "been there, done that" attitude . . . the light of the spirit becomes obscured. The sacredness of life becomes overcast with clouds of familiarity. As the saying goes, familiarity breeds contempt. Wishing for an experience of life that is in the divinity of the present, we are called upon to do battle with complacency and inattention.
