"Each person journeys alone, even when surrounded by friends or family. And each leg of the journey, each detour, each rest stop, each disappointment or discovery alters the original trip plan. Wisdom isn't a gift. You have to live a lot, learn a lot, sometimes take the less-traveled path, sometimes dare to welcome adventure, and pray a lot as you seek to earn that elusive wisdom. Age can add a lot of wrinkles on the 'map' of your journey but you can just pretend they are simply squiggly lines put there by a life of experience.
