God Paints the Rainbows

God paints the rainbows,
And hangs the moon and the stars,
Perfumes the flowers with benevolent grace,
Among soft grass of alpine lace.

God pulls at the tides,
And tosses the waves,
Sings hymns with birds aloft in air,
Chasing wind songs in silent prayer.

God spins the earth,
And scatters the clouds,
Makes sunbeams dance,
In a heavenly trance.

God is our Father
And the Earth is our Mother.
Love of our Mother so cherished and kind,
Delivers us to our Father eternally divine.
