“I ask the Lord that one day there will be no child without a home and a family, no child without food, no child without a way to be trained and go to school and get ready to live in this world. This world is very hard to live in unless you have all that.
“Love one another, the saying goes. But I say to you: Rub on one another. That’s how you feel the needs of others — when you hug someone who smells of sweat, or has no clothes, or even when you get all muddy yourself from mixing cement to fix the children’s houses. That’s how you love one another.”
