One of the wise things we can learn from the East is that nothing can exist without its opposite: if you want order you have to acknowledge and deal with chaos.
The Master has decided to visit a farm with his dojo daycare group -- a band of little ninja boys and girls dressed in black and filled with energy. While feeding a pig, the Master falls in the slop, a bull chases him, and then he is dragged through the hay. All of these mishaps fuel the ninjas' playfulness as they set chicks free and have fun kicking fences.
In the midst of this "barnyard disaster," the little ones forget their creed: "Always help someone in need." This ethical precept finally sinks in and the ninjas rescue their Master and fix things around the farm.
Writer and illustrator Chris Tougas has fashioned an entertaining tale appropriate for children from ages 3 to 7. Sometimes chaos creates the perfect occasion to discover the satisfaction of helping someone else.
