This is a rom-com so you know what to expect. A likeable but unlikely couple. A challenge or two to their getting and staying together. Some humor resulting from misunderstandings or surprising situations. External pressures on the relationship such as disapprovals from family and friends. But all turns out well in the end.

Solene (Anne Hathaway) is a 40-year-old single mom who takes her teenage daughter to the Coachella Music Festival. There she has a “meet-cute” encounter in his trailer with the lead singer of the hottest boy band at the concert, Hayes Campbell (Nicholas Galitzine). Although he is only 24, they immediately hit it off.

Back in Los Angeles, Hayes shows up at Solene’s art gallery and purchases a lot of art. He invites her to New York and then to come on the band’s European tour. They try to keep their relationship secret, but it is exposed on social media.

If you are looking for a sweet, fluffy movie with a few serious things to say about how celebrities can have their privacy invaded by social media, this one is for you. Hathaway and Campbell have great chemistry, proving that a big age difference doesn’t matter.
