Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book features Jason Scott Lee as an orphan raised by a black panther, a wolf, and a bear in the jungles of India.

When Mowgli grows up, he returns to civilization to seek out Kitty (Lena Headey), his childhood sweetheart. Her father (Sam Neill), an English major, wants her to marry a military man (Cary Elwes). But this greedy fellow has other things on his mind: such as making Mowgli take him to a lost city of treasure in the jungle.

This exciting and picturesque film, shot on location in India, hurrahs Mowgli's mystical rapport with animals and damns the warps of civilized society.
