These cards are designed to spark engagement with democracy and democratic values. They feature quotes from a wide variety of voices on the values, virtues, and visions of democracy. There are 52 cards divided into groups on democracy, freedom, equality, and common good.
On your own or with family, friends, classmates, or colleagues, select a card and read its quote aloud. Then work with the suggestions on the related card for reflection, journaling, or discussion, and ways to act on the ideas in your personal and community life.
