The feelings that accompany our experience are the carriers of unspoken, unrecognized questions, values, and wisdom and the key to their conceptualization. If we attend to those feelings as gift, they help us begin to articulate our question by leading us to an image. The image symbolizes our question by framing it one step beyond body sensation. When we allow our feeling to embody our question and then shift it to the level of image, we can begin to learn from it.
