Perhaps in Mother Teresa's walk was the secret of her life. Mother Teresa didn't appear to be a visionary with grand ideas and the need to complete them. Instead, her life was a series of steps; with each step, she accomplished what God presented to her. And because her Beloved was here in the midst of life and not in the future or some heavenly realm, Mother Teresa was also here, in this present moment. For Mother Teresa, each step on her way to the altar was done in God's presence. Each step was a communion.
