Abdullah related:
The Prophet (Peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) stopped during a journey, and one of his Companion's took a bird's egg. The bird hovered around the head of the Messenger of Allah (Peace and blessing of Allah be upon him), who asked: "Who has distressed this bird by taking its egg?" The man answered: "O Messenger of Allah, it was I who took the egg." The Prophet (Peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) said: "Have mercy on the bird and put it back."
