Jesus is a model of mindfulness, one who lived continuously in the presence of God. Perhaps his greatest act of mindfulness was his last when he forgave those who were killing him and understood that they could be forgiven because "they know not what they do." The mindful person is not only aware of the mindlessness of others, but is non-judgementally aware. A great peace awaits us when we realize that none of us has the right to speak or act as if we were superior to any other.
