Religion is about relationship in the context of Mystery. Because we live in your vastness, our life is not our own. We do not have a relationship with you; we are a relationship with you. We can not comprehend the utter intimacy from which we arise and in which we live, but we can give expression to it in words and in silence, through gestures and stillness. Religious ritual should incorporate these modes as it celebrates the mystical truth of the one reality that is humanity/Divinity.
