Try as much as possible to generate a good heart, and genuinely do something that is beneficial for others. Genuine dharma practice is to make sure that one's life is led in such a way that you are able to die without any regret, knowing that your life has been helpful to someone. For that meditation is essential. The practices help you strengthen the ability to generate compassion and to genuinely discover and realize the inherent nature of basic goodness.
