Jesus is celebrating because a wedding is a celebration of love.
And Jesus has come to reveal, strengthen and deepen love.
For Jesus, marriage is not a prison of wearisome fidelity,
but the sign of a scared union, enfolded in love,
that enables people to grow in forgiveness, tenderness, kindness and compassion.
