Children laugh, on average, up to 300 times a day, adults just 17. Obviously, age is a factor. Most kids don't have the worries or responsibilities we have. Plus, we 're more discriminating about what we find amusing. But clearly you're not alone in your concern. There is now so much scientific evidence of the physical and emotional benefits of humor that a whole industry has sprung up around it. You can now get laughter therapy, laughter yoga, laughter clubs, laughter coaches — there's even a "laughter ambassador training" program and several scientific and medical associations. Put 'laughter' in your search engine and you'll see what I mean.
