As Meister Eckhart put it, "I pray God to rid me of God." The God of fascism and control, of Peeping Tomism and retribution, of dualism and patriarchal violence, of order and so-called unity forced from the outside has no appeal for me. Perhaps I am talking about the God of modernity that holds no interest for me. Perhaps I am talking about deconstructing and reconstructing our images of God.
