The very purpose of our religious rituals is to enable us to enter into the dramatic manifestation of the divine in a sacred world. This is why we have bodies capable of movement, sight, and hearing and all our other senses, especially our capacities for ritual. Through our sacred ceremonies we enter into the primordial liturgy of the universe itself.
