Like a child, the old wise ones, or true contemplatives, Jesus lived in wonder, seeing the presence of God in all. His was a vision of unity of all the world's people, and their essential oneness with God as well. Jesus awakened some and bewildered others with his profound knowledge of the human heart. Refreshingly, he pointed to the reverence, peace, light, playfulness, openness, renewal, freedom, happiness, truth, courage, and love. These are the qualities of God which we can know.
