The call to create often feels as though it rises from a deep, divine breath of God, like a muse with a message. We the creator, the artist, the writer, have only the bright idea of giving body and blood to that Holy Spirit, of putting that divine life, that oftentimes playful and amusing, but sometimes disturbing message, into words, paint, clay, music, or some other mysterious medium.
