Michael Jones is a composer, a management consultant, and author of Creating an Imaginative Life (Conari Press). In this fascinating interview with Michael Toms, he talks about the education of his imagination. He says anybody can do this by dropping the plan and exploring questions. Imagination arises out of our ability to go with the flow of intuition and be open to spontaneity. And it can be nurtured through attention and making meaning out of our experiences.

Jones, who has released ten albums, reveals what he's learned about himself and life from playing the piano. He believes that each of us is gifted in something that feels perfectly natural. To follow that gift, we must step into the unknown and heed the call of the heart. His work with corporations has proven to him the widespread interest in sensuousness, dialogue, and intuition. Bringing soul into the working milieu is surely one of the creative challenges of the future.
