This 90-minute cassette contains four sacred chants by Shri Anandi Ma, a meditation and yogi teacher. In Hinduism, mantras are seen as a special kind of intensified prayer. Repeating them over and over, a devotee can influence the flow of "prana" (energy) to the different chakras.

The four mantras in Sanskrit that are chanted by Shri Anandi Ma and Dileepji Pathak are meant to be used to combat fear and to send into the consciousness feelings of safety, courage, and well-being. All of this is explained in the brief study guide that accompanies the cassette. Here you will find an English translation of the mantras. The first one, addressed to the Divine Mother, goes: "O Goddess Durga, you who are the inner nature of every being, the goddess of every being, and the energy of every being, who removes our fear, the reliever of difficulties, we bow to you." The longest mantra, "The Garland of the 32 Names of the Release of Difficulties," is designed to erase all kinds of different fears.
