Kate Ritger is an oblate of the Sisters of the Order of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, Minnesota. She currently serves as a caretaker for the earth, growing food and building community around a vibrant local food system. Everything she does is organized around the cornerstones of Benedictine tradition and the Rule of St., Benedict.

This little book covers the 14 Christian qualities that give meaning and purpose to her life, including humility, community living, hospitality, awareness of God, and peace. She opens each chapter with a Scripture reading, following by an inspiring meditation, and questions to open the heart, mind and soul.
