This book recounts the Passover Seders held by a group of New York feminists since 1976. The idea was to give these women, including Gloria Steinem, Letty Pogrebin, Bella Abzug, and others, a ritual whereby they could stay in touch with Jewish tradition and create their own spiritual community. A feminist Haggadah is appended to the end of the book.
