White Man Can't Jump stars Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson as two basketball hustlers who ply their trade on the asphalt courts of Southern California. They talk dirty, trade ethnic barbs, and jerk each other around despite their business arrangement. Since writer and director Ron Shelton goes for easy laughs, the film has none of the sophistication or bite of Bull Durham. Rosie Perez as Harrelson's spunky girlfriend, steals the spotlight from the two male leads. The best that can be said for this flick is that it provides another portrait of Peter Pan males who refuse to grow up.
