What a delectable idea to put together the zany antics of Steve Martin, Lily Tomlin and Carl Reiner! The creative mix of these comic talents plus a zippy screenplay by Phil Alden Robinson result in an outrageously funny movie. Also featured are Victoria Tennant, Richard Libertini and Madolyn Smith.

Edwina Cutwater, a wealthy spinster with a terminal disease, hires an Eastern religion guru to transfer her soul to the beautiful body of her stable hand's daughter. However, the trick doesn't turn out right; instead, Edwina's spirit lands inside Roger Cobb's body. These two individuals are as different as salt and pepper. Roger is a free-spirited and lusty attorney who brings his dog to his soon-to-be father-in law's office and plays jazz guitar in his spare time.

Ever wonder about the masculine and feminine sides of your personality? Well, here "all of me" means a wacky blend of Edwina and Roger — half of the body walks with a swish and the other with a machismo strut. Driving, going to the bathroom, and making love turn out to be monumentally difficult efforts of coordination. The psychic split proves to be even more treacherous problem. Which will win out, Roger's horny ways or Edwina's chastity?

All of Me gives Steve Martin and Lily Tomlin ample opportunity to showcase their comic zest. This humorous romp joins Victor/Victoria and Tootsie in the chorus of movies which entice us to accept both sides of our personality.
