Most of us revere and live with a God or Buddha who is limited by our own imagination and experiences. Isn't this true "idol worship"? To surrender my idea, the idol, is true spiritual practice. When you can surrender your ideas, which are shadows in your mind, only then will you truly perceive Buddha.
