I do not know how Jesus transforms evil, but he has promised it will be done and is even now being done. So the best I can do when up against what appears to be deliberate, freely chosen evil is to envision the victimizer alone in the room with Jesus — and leave them there together. Perhaps this is the ultimate intercessory prayer from the mercy seat.
