The Seven Practices to Remove Disputes and Conflicts
1. All parties should be present in a meeting to share their suffering.
2. All parties should remember and recount the details of the conflict.
3. It should be determined that neither party is mentally ill.
4. The parties should confess their own unskillfulness.
5. A committee is assembled to investigate the nature of the conflict.
6. A majority vote is used to resolve the conflict.
Respected senior members of the community are invited to declare a general amnesty.
