Resurrection life is a pledge of life as an act of hope that makes us one both with God and our neighbors. This is the way the kingdom comes: in mercy, in compassion and love, in siding with the ditch folk, with Jesus, with the Scriptures that calls us to obey the presence of God in our midst. If we do this, then we will know resurrection life, the eternal life, even now.

This is the way of hospitality, of making space for God and others in our lives, of making the world and the earth a more habitable place to live. It is the way of putting ourselves out so that others may enter into the kingdom.
