It is here, in the place and time set aside for prayer, that my soul magnifies the Lord like a lens meant to increase the clarity of divine love within all of us. Saying the same words night after night, like a child upstairs going to sleep, I am learning that as menial as my tasks are, and as sinful as I am, God has remembered his promise of mercy, in ordinary time.
